Follow these tips and use our Casting Call section to its fullest.
RECENT CASTING CALLS ON TOP
When you pick a section, all recent calls will be listed on top. Each page lists 30 calls at a time. Note that each call is color coded. A "Dark Red" link means you've already viewed the call during that session. The following explains how each function works.
TITLE
Shows title of call. If you are searching for a specific call, use the search engine (only available for Premium Members).
DESCRIPTION
This is a short blurb about the call. Listed will be: type of call, pay or no pay, and date of call. If pay is not mentioned, assume there is no pay. Following are examples of what dates means:
12/31 - audition is on this date
By 12/31 - submissions are needed by that date
off 12/31 - call was listed 16 days ago
CALENDAR
This date indicates when calls are having auditions, when submissions are needed by and when calls are coming off. Clicking on it will sort dates from "now" to "later," so this "calendar" will list upcoming calls on top. Listings will come off as follows:
Calls that have no audition or "By" date will come off 16 days after listing
Calls with "By" date will come off the next day
Calls with "audition" date will come off the following day
POSTED
Clicking on this will sort the calls from "new" to "old" by date order.
VIEW LOCATION OF CASTING CALL
In the casting call listing, you can view the address of where the audition is by clicking on View Location button at the bottom of the page. This will only work if an audition is at an actual location. Clicking on it without an audition location will take you to Yahoo Maps. Always double check the location as errors can occur.
PRINT CALLS
In order to have fast browsing sessions, we do not keep expired notices in our server as this may slow down your surfing. If you need a copy, please print out the call.
ADD CASTING CALLS
You can add the call you are interested in to your "Casting Calls Folder." Just click on ADD TO MY CASTING CALLS.
